Macon, GA – Fatal Motorcycle Crash at Lions Pl & Rocky Creek Rd
Macon, GA (November 23, 2021) – At 5 p.m. on the evening of Monday, November 22, a fatal motorcycle crash occurred at an intersection in Macon.
According to Bibb County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Lions Place and Rocky Creek Road. A 24-year-old woman was making a left turn at the intersection when her vehicle suddenly collided with a motorcycle being operated by a 40-year-old man. The motorcycle was left with extensive damages due to the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The motorcyclist was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to severe injuries. The female driver was rushed to the hospital but has since been listed in stable condition.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
