Mableton, GA – Two-Vehicle Crash at GA-53 & Veterans Memorial Hwy
Mableton, GA (July 22, 2021) – On Thursday afternoon, July 22, a two-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Mableton.
According to the Rome Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-53 and the Veterans Memorial Highway. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other, causing the vehicles to sustain damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Two patients, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
