Mableton, GA – Truck Crash at Veterans Memorial Hwy & Old Bankhead Hwy
Mableton, GA (December 15, 2021) – At 7:30 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, December 15, a truck crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Mableton.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Veterans Memorial Highway and Old Bankhead Highway. A truck was traveling in the area when the vehicle entered the intersection, forcefully colliding with a passenger vehicle in the area. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time. This led to delays in the area until the scene was cleared.
