Mableton, GA – Car Crash at Mableton Pkwy & Factory Shoals Rd
Mableton, GA (July 16, 2021) – At 1 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, July 16, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Mableton.
According to local officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Mableton Parkway and Factory Shoals Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be removed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized, though their conditions and identities are not yet known.
The northbound lanes of traffic were blocked in the area of the intersection for some time, which led to delays.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
