Mableton, GA – Car Crash at Austell Rd & Clay Rd Leads to Injuries
Mableton, GA (October 20, 2021) – At 1:34 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 20, a car crash with injuries occurred in Mableton.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Austell Road and Clay Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other at the intersection. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
