Ludowici, GA – Pregnant Woman Injured in Car Crash at GA-301 & Bradwell Dunham Rd
Ludowici, GA (August 7, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place at an intersection in Ludowici on Sunday afternoon, August 7.
According to Georgia State Patrol officials, the accident happened around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of GA-301 and Bradwell Dunham Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with each other. The involved vehicles sustained severe damages as a result of the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. A pregnant woman and her child were injured inside one of the vehicles. They were rushed to local hospitals, as well as two other victims who were possibly in the second vehicle. Their conditions are not yet known.
GA-301 was completely blocked for approximately an hour as police worked to clear the scene, which led to delays.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time.
