Lookout Mtn, GA – Rollover Crash at GA-157 & Barnes Rd Intersection
Lookout Mountain, GA (October 29, 2021) – On Friday morning, October 29, a rollover crash took place at an intersection in Lookout Mountain.
According to Dade County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-157 and Barnes Road. The driver of the vehicle was coming around a bend and suddenly lost control, causing their vehicle to roll over. The driver of the vehicle got out and fled the scene without waiting for the police.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims who were left behind were injured in the collision. The parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
