Loganville, GA – Two-Vehicle Accident with Injuries on Hwy 81
Loganville, GA (April 19, 2021) – Around 8:30 a.m. on the morning of Monday, April 19, a two-vehicle accident occurred on a highway in Loganville.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, the collision happened at 1441 Highway 81 at the parking lot for the EZ Stop convenience store. At the time, a 58-year-old man was driving his Ford Explorer and exiting the parking lot when his vehicle was struck by a Mercury driven by a 33-year-old woman with a juvenile in the front seat.
The driver of the Mercury was transported to the hospital with serious injuries while her child suffered from minor injuries. The driver of the Ford was also transported with minor injuries.
The driver of the Ford was issued a citation for failing to yield while making a left turn.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
