Loganville, GA – Child Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Youth Monroe Rd
Loganville, GA (September 24, 2021) – On Wednesday, September 22, a child was killed in a fatal pedestrian crash in Loganville.
According to Walton County officials, the accident happened on Youth Monroe Road on private property. A minor child was playing in the area when they were suddenly struck by a golf cart being operated by somebody else on the property. The driver of the golf cart remained at the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately called to the scene to help those in need. The child, who has not yet been identified, was seriously injured in the crash. They were tragically pronounced dead at the scene as a result of their injuries.
The area was blocked for some time until police were able to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
