Lithonia, GA – Injury Accident at Covington Hwy & Lithonia Industrial Blvd
Lithonia, GA (October 29, 2021) – At 5:02 a.m. on the morning of Friday, October 29, an injury accident occurred at an intersection in Lithonia.
According to local officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Covington Highway and Lithonia Industrial Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection simultaneously, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the collision. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, almost all lanes of traffic were blocked at the intersection for some time.
