Lithonia, GA (March 27, 2022) – Around 6 p.m. on Friday evening, March 25, a car crash with injuries took place at an intersection in Lithonia.
According to DeKalb County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Covington Highway and DeKalb Medical Parkway. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing them to collide forcefully with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident sustained heavy damages as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Several victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
