Lithonia, GA – Car Crash at S Stone Mtn Lithonia Rd & Redan Rd
Lithonia, GA (October 14, 2021) – At 8:04 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, October 14, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Lithonia.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of South Stone Mountain Lithonia Road and Redan Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident. The injured victims were taken to the hospital for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes for an extended period of time. This led to delays until police cleared the scene.
