Lithonia, GA – Car Accident Leads to Injuries on S Deshon Rd
Lithonia, GA (May 13, 2021) – At 8 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, May 13, a car accident occurred on a roadway in Lithonia.
According to police, the accident happened at South Deshon Road between the area of Rogers Lake and Afford Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not currently known. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes for a period of time, which led to delays.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
