Lithia Springs, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at Thornton Rd & N Blairs Bridge Rd
Lithia Springs, GA (August 12, 2021) – Before 6 a.m. on Thursday morning, August 12, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Lithia Springs.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Thornton Road and North Blairs Bridge Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This caused the vehicles to forcefully collide with each other. Tow trucks had to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a short period of time, which led to delays until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
