Lithia Springs, GA – Car Crash at Thornton Rd & Veterans Memorial Hwy
Lithia Springs, GA (April 15, 2021) – Around 7:31 a.m. on the morning of Thursday morning, April 15, a car crash took place at an intersection in Lithia Springs.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Thornton Road and Veterans Memorial Highway. Two or more vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time. Wreckers were present in the area to remove damaged vehicles from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were injured and hospitalized as a result of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time, which led to extensive delays.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
