Lithia Springs, GA – Car Crash at Skyview Dr & Mt Vernon Rd Intersection
Lithia Springs, GA (August 18, 2021) – At 6:52 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, August 18, a car crash occurred at an intersection in Lithia Springs.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Skyview Drive and Mt. Vernon Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide forcefully with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were severely damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
