Lithia Springs, GA (September 21, 2021) – At 5:14 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, September 21, a car crash occurred at an intersection in Lithia Springs.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Lee Road and Summerlin Parkway. Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This caused the vehicles to collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in multiple lanes until police cleared the scene. This led to delays in the area until police cleared the scene.
