Lithia Springs, GA – Car Accident at US-78 & Thornton Rd Intersection
Lithia Springs, GA (April 26, 2021) – At 8 a.m. on the morning of Monday, April 26, a serious car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Lithia Springs.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of US-78 and Thornton Road when two or more vehicles collided with one another. It is believed that the vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of their injuries.
One turn lane of traffic was blocked in the area until police cleared the scene, which led to slight delays.
