Lithia Springs, GA – Car Accident at Blairs Bridge Rd & Thornton Rd
Lithia Springs, GA (July 26, 2021) – At 6:11 a.m. on the morning of Monday, July 26, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Lithia Springs.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Blairs Bridge Road and Thornton Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged due to the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
