Lilburn, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at GA-78 & Lake Lucerne Rd
Lilburn, GA (May 24, 2021) – At 11:11 a.m. on Monday morning, May 24, a car crash with injuries took place at an intersection in Lilburn.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-78 and Lake Lucerne Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided at the intersection. The vehicles were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time. Police urged those in the area to use Five Forks Trickum Road as an alternate route for some time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
