Lilburn, GA – Car Crash at US-29 & Main St Intersection
Lilburn, GA (September 13, 2021) – At 5:08 p.m. on the evening of Monday, September 13, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Lilburn.
According to Gwinnett County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of US-29 and Main Street. Two or more vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, which caused a forceful collision between the vehicles. The vehicles were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the crash, only a center lane of traffic was open in the area. This led to delays for a period of time.
