Leary, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision Involving Tractor-Trailer on Leary Rd
Leary, GA (March 4, 2022) – A multi-vehicle collision involving a tractor-trailer led to injuries in Leary on Friday morning, March 4.
According to officials, the accident happened around 6:15 a.m. on Leary Road. Police confirmed that a woman was traveling in the area when her vehicle collided with a semi-truck and another passenger vehicle due to reasons that are not yet known. Her vehicle went off the side of the road and went into a ditch, where it allegedly rolled. The tractor-trailer also rolled over as a result. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time. There was debris all over the road and police worked to clear the scene, which led to delays in the area.
