Lawrenceville, GA – Tractor-Trailer Crash at Buford Dr & Russell Rd
Lawrenceville, GA (July 15, 2021) – At 7 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, July 15, a tractor-trailer crash with injuries occurred in Lawrenceville.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Buford Drive and Russell Road. A tractor-trailer was entering the intersection when it collided with a passenger vehicle in the area. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result of the accident and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
One or more lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time, which led to delays in the area until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
