Lawrenceville, GA (June 8, 2021) – At 7:12 a.m. on Tuesday morning, June 8, a car accident with injuries occurred in Lawrenceville.

According to the Gwinnett County Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-316 and Progress Center Avenue. Two or more vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked at the intersection for some time, which led to delays.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
