Lawrenceville, GA – 17-Year-Old Killed in Fatal Crash at Simonton Rd & Kirtley Way
Lawrenceville, GA (August 23, 2021) – On Wednesday, a juvenile was killed in a fatal crash at an intersection in Lawrenceville.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Simonton Road and Kirtley Way. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to forcefully collide. The vehicles involved were badly damaged due to the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. A 17-year-old senior at the Dacula High School was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. It is not known if any other parties were injured in the accident.
Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was blocked for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
