LaGrange, GA – Woman Killed in a Fatal Car Accident on W Point Rd
LaGrange, GA (August 8, 2021) – At 4:23 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, August 7, a woman was killed in a fatal car accident in LaGrange.
According to Troup County officials, the accident happened at 6200 West Point Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly collided after one lost control. The vehicles involved in the accident were left with severe damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. A woman in one of the vehicles was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. It is not known if any parties were injured as a result.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
