LaFayette, GA – Two-Vehicle Crash at S Main & W Main St Results in Injuries
LaFayette, GA (October 6, 2021) – Late at night on Wednesday, October 6, a two-vehicle crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in LaFayette.
According to Walker County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of South Main Street and West Main Street. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. One of the drivers got out of their vehicle and fled the scene of the crash on foot.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims left in the vehicle that remained at the scene were hurt in the crash. The injured victims were hospitalized for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
