LaFayette, GA – Two-Vehicle Collision at GA-27 & GA-151 Intersection
LaFayette, GA (August 21, 2021) – At 1 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, August 21, a two-vehicle collision occurred at an intersection in LaFayette.
According to Walker County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-27 and GA-151. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were seriously injured as a result of the crash. The unidentified victims were taken to local hospitals with unknown injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
