LaFayette, GA – Three-Vehicle Crash with Injuries on Hwy 136
LaFayette, GA (July 31, 2021) – At 9:30 p.m. on Saturday night, July 31, a three-vehicle crash occurred on a roadway in LaFayette.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 136. Three vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided at the entrance to the Carriage Estates. The vehicles involved in the accident were severely damaged and had to be removed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Two people involved in the accident sustained injuries as a result. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
