LaFayette, GA – Rollover Accident with Injuries on Chamberlain Rd
LaFayette, GA (July 19, 2021) – At 11:24 a.m. on the morning of Monday, July 19, a rollover accident happened on a roadway in LaFayette.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, the accident happened at 5158 Chamberlain Road. A driver was traveling in the area when they lost control of their vehicle. The vehicle went off the side of the road and into a yard where it overturned several times. Police confirmed that the vehicle involved in the crash was badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
