Kingston, GA – Car Accident at Macedonia Rd & US-411 Intersection
Kingston, GA (August 10, 2021) – Around 2 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 10, a car accident with injuries occurred in Kingston.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Macedonia Road and US-411. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time. One of the vehicles was identified as a police cruiser. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, one of which is identified as an officer. Their injuries are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection until police were able to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
