Kennesaw, GA – Two-Vehicle Collision on I-575 Near Chastain Rd
Kennesaw, GA (August 10, 2021) – At 6:56 a.m. on Tuesday morning, August 10, a two-vehicle collision with injuries occurred in Kennesaw.
According to local officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-575 around the area of exit 3, Chastain Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly collided with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time, which led to extensive delays until police cleared the scene.
