Kennesaw, GA – Police Investigating Injury Car Wreck on I-75 at Chastain Rd
Kennesaw, GA (May 9, 2021) – Around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday evening, May 9, a car accident with injuries occurred in Kennesaw.
According to Cobb County Police, the accident took place in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Chastain Road. The accident took place when two or more vehicles collided with each other for unknown reasons. One of the vehicles went into the median in the center of the road and was badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The accident was so severe that almost all lanes of traffic were blocked for some time, leading to extensive delays in the area.
