Kennesaw, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75 Near Chastain Rd
Kennesaw, GA (July 14, 2021) – At 3:40 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 14, a multi-vehicle crash on a highway in Kennesaw.
According to police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of exit 271, Chastain Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged and had to be removed from the scene by tow trucks.
Emergency responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately called to the scene to help. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The left lane of traffic was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
