Kennesaw, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-575 Near Chastain Rd
Kennesaw, GA (May 29, 2021) – At 8:29 p.m. on the night of Friday, May 29, a multi-vehicle crash took place on a highway in Kennesaw.
According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-575 around the area of Chastain Road (exit 3). Several vehicles collided with each other in the area for reasons that are not yet known. This led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with various injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
A left lane of traffic was blocked in the area for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
