Kennesaw, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash Injures Several Victims on I-75 at Chastain Rd
Kennesaw, GA (August 7, 2021) – At 11:00 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, August 7, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Kennesaw.
According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 around the area of Chastain Road. Several vehicles were traveling on the highway in the area when they suddenly collided with one another due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
Two of the three right lanes of the highway were blocked in the area for a short period of time until police moved the damaged vehicles off to the left. The area wasn’t clear until nearly an hour after the wreck occurred.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
