Kennesaw, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-75 Near I-575
Kennesaw, GA (August 15, 2021) – At 2:21 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, August 14, a multi-vehicle collision with injuries occurred in Kennesaw.
According to officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area o I-575. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the crash, the left lane of traffic was blocked for a period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the collision continues.
