Kennesaw, GA – EMS Transports Victims of I-575 Multi-Car Crash at Hwy 92
Kennesaw, GA (November 25, 2021) – At 5:30 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, November 25, a multi-vehicle collision occurred in Kennesaw.
According to local police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-575 around the area of exit 7 and Highway 92. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, a red alert was issued in the area and all lanes of traffic were closed. Police urged those in the area to use Highway 5 as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
