Kennesaw, GA – Car Crash at Cobb Pkwy & Mack Dobbs Rd Intersection
Kennesaw, GA (July 8, 2021) – At 1:02 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, July 8, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Kennesaw.
According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Cobb Parkway and Mack Dobbs Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the crash were extensively damaged as a result and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were rushed to the hospital with various injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time, which led to extensive delays.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
