Kennesaw, GA – Car Crash at Bells Ferry Rd & Chastain Rd Intersection
Kennesaw, GA (August 17, 2021) – At 4 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 17, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Kennesaw.
According to Cobb County Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Bells Ferry Road and Chastain Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This caused them to collide with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The crash was so severe that it blocked a large portion of the roadway at the intersection. Police urged those in the area to use caution until the scene was cleared.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
