Kennesaw, GA – Car Accident on I-75 Near Wade Green Rd
Kennesaw, GA (April 29, 2021) – At 2:25 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, April 29, a car accident took place on a highway in Kennesaw.
According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Wade Green Road. Multiple vehicles collided with each other in the area, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for some time, which led to delays until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
