Kennesaw, GA – Car Accident at Cobb Pkwy & Jiles Rd Intersection
Kennesaw, GA (July 12, 2021) – At 7:31 a.m. on the morning of Monday, July 12, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Kennesaw.
According to local officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Cobb Parkway and Jiles Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged and had to be removed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
Two right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time, which led to extensive delays in the area.
