Jonesboro, GA – Teen Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Tara Blvd
Jonesboro, GA (April 26, 2021) – At 10:30 p.m. on Thursday night, April 22, a teen was injured in a pedestrian accident in Jonesboro.
According to authorities, the accident happened at 6000 Tara Boulevard. Officers found that a 36-year-old woman and three teen employees were involved in an argument in the line at a restaurant. The three employees exited the building and continued to argue. The woman got in her vehicle and drove onto the business’ curb, striking the three victims.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One of the teens was taken to the hospital with injuries but their condition is not yet known.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested on aggravated assault charges.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
