Jonesboro, GA – Car Crash at Tara Blvd & Poston Rd Intersection
Jonesboro, GA (November 24, 2021) – At 8:45 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, November 24, a car crash with injuries occurred in Jonesboro.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Tara Boulevard and Poston Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt as a result of the accident, though their conditions are not yet known. The parties were rushed to local hospitals.
Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was blocked in several lanes in the area of the intersection. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
