Jonesboro, GA – Amazon Truck Crash in NB Lanes of I-75
Jonesboro, GA (June 14, 2021) – At 6:29 a.m. on the morning of Monday, June 14, a truck crash involving an Amazon truck occurred in Jonesboro.
According to Clayton County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Tara Boulevard (exit 235). An Amazon truck was traveling in the area when it collided with one or more vehicles due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved were left with extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their current conditions are not yet known.
Two right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
