Jefferson, GA – Car Accident at US-129 & Hwy 11 Intersection
Jefferson, GA (December 28, 2021) – At 6:58 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, December 28, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Jefferson.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of US-129 and Highway 11. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
