Holly Springs, GA – Car Accident with Injuries on I-575 Near Sixes Rd
Holly Springs, GA (August 9, 2021) – At 9:02 a.m. on Monday morning, August 9, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Holly Springs.
According to police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-575 around the area of Sixes Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other in a chain-reaction crash. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hurt and had to be taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
