Hiram, GA – Injury Accident at Charles Hardy Pkwy & Atlanta Hwy
Hiram, GA (May 24, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place at an intersection in Hiram on Tuesday afternoon, May 24.
According to Paulding County officials, the accident happened around 1:13 p.m. at the intersection of Charles Hardy Parkway and Atlanta Highway. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The involved vehicles sustained heavy damage as a result of the collision.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked for an hour following the accident. Police worked to clear the scene so traffic could resume as normal in the area.
