Hiram, GA – Car Crash at Macland Rd & Lake Rd Intersection
Hiram, GA (June 27, 2021) – At 9:46 p.m. on the night of Saturday, June 26, a car crash occurred at an intersection in Hiram.
According to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, a car crash with injuries occurred at the intersection of Macland Road and Lake Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles forcefully collided, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area for approximately one hour as police worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
