Henry Co, GA – Car Crash Causes Injuries on I-75 NB at SR 138
Henry Co, GA (June 17, 2021) – Around 8:00 a.m. on Thursday morning, June 17, a multi-vehicle collision took place on a highway in Henry County, resulting in at least one seriously injured victim.
Officers with the Henry County Police Department reported the accident at approximately 7:50 a.m. and said it occurred in the northbound lanes of Interstate 75 near State Route 138. The accident involved two to three cars, including one large box truck, leading to injuries and traffic backups in the area.
Numerous first responders, including Henry paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene. They appeared to treat one of the victims involved at the scene, though the extent of their injuries is not yet known. Fire rescue units also responded to the multi-vehicle collision.
Officers have not released any identifying information about the drivers involved, though photographs showing several vehicles pulled to the side of the road were released. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
